    It's merdeka tomorrow! hooray! Merdeka!

I hope for a good crazy merdeka this year. I might be going to KLCC tonight for the concert and fireworks! If the LRT and KTM close down on me, I might just have to bum around at the park all morning.

Merdeka offer for summonses - 50% discount

Come Merdeka Day, it’s common for shops and malls to offer huge discounts in conjunction with the celebrations. This time around, the police have joined the bandwagon.

    Talk about a crazy merdeka!

It's my first Merdeka in the capital and I will be a fool not to do anything about it.(even though I'm quite broke)

    We'll see.

Swimming pools with blue tiles with fresh clorinated water are meant to look blue from the outside. It's meant to be clear, it's meant to be pretty.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

    Like this beauty up here.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I swam in this pool before, when it was still in its clean state, where it water is 'blue' and the filter is running. Clorinated but healthy enough.

Couple of days ago, someone threw an orange cone in here. Those orange cones we used to see at road blocks or even driving training games etc, yeah one of those. I'm quite sure its somewhere in the pool and today it can't be seen.(I could barely glimpse at it the day before yesterday)

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I am not too sure whether I was colourblind or there are just too many trees around but its kind of shocking to see something like this.

Before I even moved into my apartment a year ago, I was told that the pool was green. Sure, I've seen it murky and I've seen it dirty with fish and all sorts inside, but now I really understand what it means when someone said, 'It's green!'

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

I wouldn't be swimming here for a while, crap! Someone better clean this pool out!

One of the things I blew my allowances on this holiday.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

gulp! I didn't realise how poor the picture actually was. My apologies.
If you were wondering what's in the box here it is.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Yeah that's it. I only paid for one of it though.

It cost me RM95 for a platinum ring with a tiny bit of diamond on it, and free engraving.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

    there it is again.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

and it even comes with an interesting bag.

It is virtually my last day of holidays. The weekends don't count. by 2 pm later, my holidays is over. It's back to a normal weekend break. I don't think I like the feeling of that it sucks.

I bet a lot of you SPM and PMR takers don't like it too. It sucks eh. But we are such insignificant people, who cares eh!

Speaking of going back to reality and back into classrooms especially nearing the end of the year, the word 'EXAM' is the most used vocabulary around. Well, Exams they suck. It's a silly way to grade us and I don't get why so many people trust them.

It brings out the worst in all of us. It's when good friends becomes enermies. Not sharing notes, not telling each other about some knowledge discovery, and it can only get worse.

Cheating! Come on, we were forced in a position to score or die, of course millions will cheat their way to survive. Who are you to ask us not to cheat, when it's a life and death situation.

I hope I will squeeze through the rest of the sememster fine, and do well for my exams. Crap! I really need a good score when SAM is over

The holidays are nearly over, and I refuse to reveal what I have done so far. I'm not too sure whether this is a fruitful break or not, but I did spend quite a lot of money. On the bright side, I did learn more about this place and i had a reasonable amount of rest. I just want more money to enhance the rest of my holidays :D

Then again, its going to be over.

I can sum up this holiday as a money spending spree. I have yet to spend so much in a few days since back in January or February. (when I was still feeling rich)

I hope to survive the rest of August well and have a spendid national day on the 31st! Happy Merdeka day. I hope the theme is no more 'Keranamu Malaysia'. I admit, it's a good theme, but we need to change it every year, come on now.

Whatever it is, my holidays will hit it's climax this weekend.
With Joel coming on saturday and I'm hosting, who knows what will happen! :D Let the funness begin.

Finally I am allowed to blog in College! Yeah!
I don't know whether if I played a part in the unblocking of www.blogger.com

My efforts was simple. Write a complain to hearus@taylors.edu.my. I was going to give it 3 days, if there is not effect, I will go to the ICT department myself and throw a few punches, maybe fruit punch.

Well I wrote them this yesterday...

I notice a few changes in the blockage of sites, and I find the site
www.blogger.com, a site which I visit often suddenly blocked. It is stated
there that this site has connection to pornography. In actual fact, it is a

website for bloggers to do their web blogging. I own a blog site,
karimaka.blogspot.com and I update this site through www.blogger.com
    However,
I am unable to excess this site. Please unblock it.

    And today, blogger is unblocked!

Doesn't matter whose effort this is, or whether or not the ICT department finally decides to unblock the site. But yeah!

I will be away for holidays, wish me the best!

Sorry for not posting anything for some time. I have to admit, with my college server blocking Blogger.com, I find it very hard to find time and money to blog. Sigh. I will launch a complain soon. Not to worry I hope. My classmate have already voiced his comments to the ICT department of Taylors College. I might just show up soon and give a couple of people rings around their eyes. No need to put on make up anymore!

Moving along, our holidays have begun! I will be experiencing a one week break, (again) and this time, I will not be going back to kuching. Muahahah. Quite a number of my friends are now in the Klang Valley and some in the Semenanjung anyway. I do have those in form 6 and those studying hard for SPM though. Good Luck to all of you!

However, I will be missing the Kuching Festival this year. First year though. Sigh! I hope someone brings me some food. *hint* *hint*

So, anyways, my holidays started off with a 5C gathering in the pyramid. Indra didn't show up cause he was 'BUSY'. (ahem) The last time more or less the same group of people hung out was in Kuching during my last holiday back in June. And can someone explain to me why is everyone in Sunway Pyramid?

And dinner at Manhanttan fish market. I think I like that place. If only I am richer. I have yet to find a bundle of RM50s with a rubberband holding them together on the floor. Sigh.

So I will be bumming around here (so called KL). I've got a few things to do and a few things to achieve this holidays. Lets hope it all happens.

This is an example about quality college graffiti. It's good. Intellectual stuff really. Some of the Taylor's college of Subang Jaya guys might have seen this one. I have no idea who did this but I assume that it is done last year, cause I remember glancing at it during the beginning of the year.

Really. This is what graffiti should be like. Other than those masterpieces by spray paints as well.

It's in a toilet cubicle by the way.

This one is right behind the one above. Or should I say right in front. They face each other. This one is one word and a thousand meanings. If you know what I mean

It's funny how a lot of people don't know how to spell this properly. Not Knowing how to spell it isn't much of a big deal. Publishing it big time is. Once and for all, you are not selling bits of tits. It's TIDBITS.

Today marks the end of my common test Threes. Specialist maths being the last paper. Such a finale. Really, leave the hardest for the last. I think I screwed up all of my test. Math was already a stunner. It was a freak result that will never ever happen again. I hope.

My best bet on a hopeful result is Chemistry. This is the only chemistry test where I walk out debating on a higher grade. Physics and specialist maths, may the heavens bless me.

At least now I feel the bliss of life. The holidays are coming and I need more money. There shall be a lot of fun!

This sucks. Suddenly College comps do not allow me to access Blogger.com
Pornography my butt. THen again, so is google.com
I hope this meaningless blocking will be over soon.

College on Friday was cancelled. Like I said, I'm still confused whether or not it's a good thing. The weather got a lot better that day anyway. My parents came so I had to spend my afternoon with them. Brought them around, show them my home and phew, I did not get whacked for not cleaning my room this time. Same goes for the most of the weekend. From their visit, I gained a lot of food, goodies from aus, stuff and money! YEah!

Saturday, there's Taylors placement day and I made myself available for a few talks. Crap, Lots to do if I wanna get into UNI!

I had arguably one of my most memorable taxi rides on Friday last weekend. I was returning back to my sleeping place from Summit. There were 2 taxis. One had a young 1 yr old in it. I took that one.

The driver was a young malay man. He seems to be very interested in making conversations (I don't meet these kind of taxi drivers that often anymore) He charged me 7 or 8 ringgit at first. I saw the man in him, on how he has to earn bread for the family (with the baby there and all) so I had took his ride.

He asked many questions, about almost anything. Asked me where I'm from. I told him Kuching, and he said he was from sabah. Then His kid started throwing tissue papers at me, failing at each attempt though.

I asked if it was his kid and he said 'yes'

When I arrived, he only collected RM4 from me. What a nice man.

    The Dead Cockroach

I saw a dead cockroach in a drain near a apartment.

He saw an young man puffing smoke to the air

and people barely able to breath

    in a crowded Taylor's College.

This land is so Tar-ed. Why should

    we suffer like this?

I want clean air for my myself.

    I want the damned fools

to let us know the API.

I want the trees to stop burning,

    the swimmingpool not smirky,

and the earth brown like usual.

Let the politicians plan how we may live with

    dignity,

    Now and always.

The haze is again making a big impact in my life. There is a piece of news. Short termly, it is good. On a long run, I don't see the goodness in it.
We are having a holiday tomorrow! Yayness for a short while. Schools are having a holiday, why not us. Aircond is not an excuse because we do not live in air conditioning. And the bad news is, there is going to be a replacement, on a Saturday!

The government finally let the public know about the API readings. As I predicted, It's bad. By the way, the readings below are of today at 11am

    Tanjung Malim
    132

    Gombak
    234

    Pelabuhan Kelang
    529

    Petaling Jaya
    349

    Country Heights, Kajang
    189

    Shah Alam
    371

    Kuala Selangor
    531

    Kuala Lumpur
    321

    Putrajaya
    364

    Nilai
    170

    Seremban
    131

    Bukit Rambai
    118

    Kuching
    71

Quite bad. Subang jaya is in Petaling Jaya and that's where I am. The north coast and the east coast + borneo seems to be fine. Pelabuhan Klang is the worst! How are they going to put big containers in ships?

Anyway, for those who don't know what these figures mean, check it with this table.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

This means I should avoid vigorous outdoor activities. Darn.

I have yet to take some pictures of the haze. I plan to do so soon and I will post some pictures here. Keep waiting.

I've got a heck of a week + weekend coming up. Maybe I'm exaggerating, but yeah, I better have more than many tricks up my sleeve this time.

I've got 3 test coming up. They aren't just any test that you can fail and laugh about, it's the common test where your marks are brought over to your finals. It affects your final grade by lets say, A LOT! Okay, there is one tomorrow, one on monday and the other on tuesday. Looks like I haven't got much time do I?

Then there's the practicals which I must do. And it's today. Both Chemistry and Physics. Doing it is not the tough part though, it's about the write up. Well maybe I should not worry about it too much and treat it lilke my other practicals.

Then there are some other small assignments to be handed up.

But I think the highlight of my week/weekend should be the fact that my parents are coming over! Crap! I need more time to clean up my place and make a good impression. I got to wash my filthy bed sheet! I got to tidy up my desk and cupboard! I got to rearrange my luggage! I got so much more to do. And I am also requested to spend some time with them, bring them around kl. Now that wouldn't be too hard, since I'm not the one who's going to sponsor. :D

The haze is getting worse. When i look out our window during class, it seems yellowish. Maybe it's just the window being tinted. Apparently it's not. And yes, it smells awfully hazy. But I believe, the haze back in 1997/1998 is the worst that I have ever encountered.

I am going to use this haze situation to my advantage. That's right. No sitting at home crying about the bad weather and hoping that it will go away. That will happen later on when I'm bored and I have absolutely nothing to do.

The haze is a good excuse for many things. The haze we breathe in affect our brain cells. This means we are not very healthy in our thoughts. (No i do not mean the 'not clean' thoughts, those are not healthy in some sense, but when active, it can be overly healthier {as if you do}) So with all the test coming up, blame it on the haze, get the picture?

A lot of people are getting sick. I am already sick. This is my best chance to spread my germs all over the place, and make others sick (those who are not anyway). And I can do this while blaming it on the haze.

    How cool is that.

One blink two blinks and It's monday again. The Sighness.

Remember I said that the haze is gone? Well, I was joking, it just got worse. The bad thing is it's not bad enough for classes to be cancelled. Then again, if it is too bad, classes cancelled, but air too filthy to actually go outside. Thus it is boring. And with exams coming, it would suck long time.

Despite the weather, I manage to get some outing experience in the weekend. Yeap, went to watch 'The Island'. I have to admit, earlier in the day, I was debating on either 'The Island' or 'stealth' Which one should I watch first? Which one is more worth it if I don't get to watch the other one in a cinema. Then I decided on one way to make this tough and ridiculous decision. Is it Jessica Biel or Scarlett Johansson? I think I made the right decision.

The movie's not bad. Quite good actually. I'm not going to spoil it for those who haven't seen it. But I can tell you this, did you know that some of the clones are real?
    .

    .

    .

    .

    Nah just joking.

    Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

This was supposed to be a good 10cm in diameter pancake. It's been a long time since I ate good, not expensive quality pancakes, with maple syrup maybe. I wanted a whole pile of them, stacked up, maybe 10, maybe 15 and it turned out like that.

    Reminds me of frankenstein.

Now I should never buy pancake mixes ever again.

Just in case if you don't know, Sumatra jungles went on fire and all their haze gets blown right into the peninsular Malaysia. It's always us who gets it.

Hazes of mist and smoke conquered our skies, forcing each and everyone of us to wear masks (well, the smart ones anyway). Staying indoors and schools suspended, many of us jumped in joy. The worser the sky gets, the happier we are. We even reached the world record, that was a long time ago... back in 1997.

I remember when it hazed again a few years later, and Mr Gerald Lee used to say, "They think they are superman, bodies so strong!"

I laugh at these moments. Good memories they bring.

If it's not on, the answer is no. Simple Durex advert. A coaster, a FREE coaster. Guess where I got it from. When it's Durex, it's a YOU-KNOW-WHAT, and a YOU-KNOW-WHAT has to be involved.

So I woke up this morning and got changed. I decided to put it on before I leave for college. Don't look at me like that, I'm sure lots of people put theses things on every morning. I had a choice, I chose the white one.

I picked it up from the floor, a used one it is. I don't throw mine away, I wash and reuse them. Some people only use them once, some re-wash after every time used, but I will use them a couple of times before considering washing them.

I slide it on my skin, it felt good. It felt very good indeed. Too good I should say. Never felt better. I gave a great 'sigh' of satisfaction. After putting it on, I will put THAT part in something else. But I decided to walk around in it first. I like the smoothe feeling. I like it rubbing against the floor, I can even make it slide. With that, I make myself slide.

Then I visited the toilet. Oh ow, I got it dirty, wet and all. Now it feels uncomfortable. Absolutely annoying. My earlier feelings of comfort turned into annoyance. It's like asset turning into liability. Maybe I should change to a new one, but most of you out there know it's a nuisance to change one. Lots of hard work. Have to take it off and put on new ones again. Why should I?

So I put on my shoes and walk to college, in damped socks. Sigh.

I think my college computer does not support the gnutella network, and I wished it did.

I came up with this brilliant plan. Hey, since I pay don't know how much for the use of my computer labs in College, I need to maximize my bandwidth use, or at least get something good from it. I thought about downloading mp3s, and videos and etc. I thought I had a foolproof plan. Since I got some downloading programs burnt in a cd, I just need to bring in over, install them and download away.

To my dissapointment, I cant connect to a single server. This sucks. Anyone out there can help me on this?

The other annoying thing about the college server is that it blocks sites. Most of your shoutbox/saybox or whatever you call it, is unassessable in my campus. Just because I don't shout at your box, doesn't mean I don't read your site though. Fortunately, myshoutbox (which happens to be MY SHOUT BOX) works.

Yeah yeah, block the porn, block the vulgar, but just watch what you are blocking. Earlier on, even own hosted sites are blocked! It's crazy!

Some of you might be wondering about my visit to Mt. Pulut last weekend. I can't give all the details and I'l cut it short.

I left on Saturday afternoon in the hot sun, walking from my apartment to LAND-x (You are not supposed to know where Mt. Pulut is)

Apparently after reaching my gate, I decided to give up because I forgot I don't have a map and no bloody idea where it is..

So I gave up and went back.
