So I attended the Catscity Clique. Its a gather bloggering(because a bloggers gathering sounds so nerdy)
It is what it is, a bloggers meet up, a medium scale one, where 50 bloggers, majority from Kuching meet up at starbucks sponsored by Advertlets. Wait, or issit sponsored by Starbucks?
Yes yes, I know you wuzzzzz here.
That means with this wrist band I can have a cup of Azuki for free. I had two :P
Azuki's a frappuccino from Starbucks that uses red bean mixed with coffee bean. Plus cream.
This is a time to gather gather, make new friends, meet up old friends, meet many self proclaimed cam whore kings and queens, talk about how you've earned only a few cents so far from advertising and even promote your blog, try to generate traffic.
My short 15 minutes of fame of the day came during the trivia. Its a first hand up gets a chance to answer a question out of 20(or issit 22?). Scores to be tallied and the person with the most points win. I ended up answering 6 questions correct while this girl Naomi(Yomi), scored 5. Because the scores were close, we had to face off in a rock paper scissors contest for the first prize, and I won 5 to 3(eh not so fair le? But you see, I have to prove that its no fluke). The picture above is where we were tied at 3-3 if I'm not mistaken.
1 proud moment is where I guessed the version Advertlets was running on currently is beta 1.75. I remembered seeing that number somewhere in the page.
Lets just say I got RM250 richer today, my winning streak continues :D
You're a worthy opponent. Congrats for winning a good amount of money yourself. :)
Others who manage to answer a question right gets some money as well. Not bad eh?
Here is Josh Lim and myself. The man responsible for paying me a considerable amount of money. That RM500 + for this year. Hey, maybe more?
